Here at MSCC we are devoted to being witnesses for Jesus in many ways. A few of the outreach ministries where our church family serves are hi-lighted, not to brag, but rather to give glory to God that He sees fit to use us to fill needs across the globe.
Clothing Closet offers no-cost apparel for men, women, and children of all ages and sizes. The Closet is open to everyone on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the basement of the church (please use the white door located at the NW corner of the church).
Compassion Cash aims to demonstrate Christ’s love to local people/families who are facing a financial hardship.
e2:effective elders provides leadership coaching for elder and staff teams. Leadership skills are developed by partnering with elders and staff in authentic relationships, providing relevant resources, and presenting training opportunities. More information may be found here.
Global Christian Mission Outreach works across denominational lines to carry the message of Jesus Christ to the people of Haiti, and to the world beyond. GCMO builds medical clinics and nutrition programs – that people may grow in Christ, and leads the lost to Christ – that they too may go with Christ, to make new generations of dedicated disciples. Mountain Mission School is nestled in the Heart of Appalachia providing a Christ-centered home, first-rate education, and loving family to many at-risk children from all corners of the globe. MSCC partners with Grundy supplying school supplies, basic care items, and food goods for the approximately 300 children who live on campus. For more information click here.
Thanksgiving 2021
Operation Christmas Child packs shoebox gifts each year to bless children in need around the world. Reaching over 100 countries, volunteers in-country share the message of the Gospel and gift children with shoeboxes packed with school supplies, toiletry items, small toys, and more. Prison Fellowship Angel Tree provides an opportunity for MSCC to extend the hope of the Gospel and enfold Angel Tree families into church life through delivering Christmas gifts on behalf of incarcerated parents. For additional details click here.
Psalm 82:3 Mission is a ministry dedicated to developing a safe children’s village and self-sustainable community center in Liberia, Africa. Members of MSCC will be visiting Liberia again in April 2024 with plans to help those in need and build relationships. Check out their website here.
